The Luxembourg Taekwondo Association (LTA) was founded in March, 2007. Our objective is to promote Taekwondo in Luxembourg. We wish to follow the philosophy and techniques according to the true spirit of Taekwondo whilst encouraging and supporting competitors to participate at every level of Taekwondo without restriction.

Carole Werner appointed new LTA president
The LTA is delighted to announce the appointment of Carole Werner as the new President on January 28, 2012.
Carole Werner holds the 2nd dan in Taekwondo and trains in the clubs of Junglinster and Vichten. Professionally, Carole is teacher in chemistry at the Lycée du Nord in Wiltz, Luxembourg.
Mickey Hardt, sportsman of the year
For his efforts in the promotion of Taekwondo and his contribution to the LTA, actors and martial arts expert Mickey Hardt was elected LTA sportsman of the year.
Serge Linckels appointed as Kukkiwon advisory member
For his continuing efforts in Taekwondo, Serge Linckels (5th dan) was appointed as Kukkiwon advisory member. Only 91 Taekwondo masters are appointed from 38 nations in Europe. Kukkiwon is the world Taekwondo headquarters.
