L’Esprit du Taekwondo - L’Art Martial Coréen et son Pays d’Origine

Finally, a textbook about Taekwondo and Korea, especially adapted to the needs of all sportsmen in Luxembourg, written by Serge Linckels and David Arendt.

On 130 pages, the reader discovers interesting information about the foundations of Taekwondo and about Korea, its culture, history, language, etc. Moreover, the spirit in the dojang, the symbolic energies "yin & yang", the WTF competition rules (version 2010), the signification of the poomsae, the Korean technical vocabulary, and much more are well documented and explained in this book.

Furthermore, the technical programme - from the white belt to the black belt 3d dan - are depicted, and illustrated in over 200 pictures.

The Minister of Sports, Romain Schneider, and the Minister of Culture, Ocative Modert, both wrote a foreword to the book to express their support. In addition, Ky-Tu Dang (World- and European Champion), master Kim Seung-Yong and other VIP signed the website’s blog.

The LTA is delighted to announce the appointment of Gianni Cappellano as new President on February 19, 2013. Gianni Cappellano holds the 3d dan in Taekwondo and trains in the clubs of Esch/Alzette and Junglinster.
